Trudesign Skin Fittings Long - Domed Black

Designed and made in New Zealand, the Skin Fitting body and nut are moulded from a glass-reinforced nylon composite. High strength, high-modulus glass fibres provide dramatic strength, stiffness, toughness and dimensional stability. These properties allow a significant weight reduction over metallic fittings.
TruDesign Skin Fittings eliminate the corrosion and electrical bonding problems associated with metallic fittings.

• ISO 9093-2021 Small craft -TRUDESIGN Skin Fittings and Ball Valves comply with ISO 9093:2021 and certified by the International Marine Certification Institute (IMCI).
• • For sizes ¾” through to 3”
• • Excludes the ½” size.
• American ABYC H-27 – 500Lb static load test - TRUDESIGN Skin Fittings and Ball Valves meet the American ABYC H-27 – 500Lb static load test; Seacocks, Thru-Hull Fittings, and Drain Plugs – independently verified by IMANNA Laboratory Inc.
• • For sizes 1¼” through to 3” the ABYC Collar it is not a requirement to meet this static load test.
• • TruDesign ABYC Load Bearing Collar is required for the size ¾ and 1” to meet this static load test.
• • The ½” does not meet the 500Lb static load test with or without the ABYC collar
• Manufactured from a glass-reinforced nylon composite - High strength and light weight
• Compatible with all hull types - Can be used on aluminium, steel, wood or GRP hulls up to 100mm thick

We offer a flat rate standard shipping of $15 on smaller items this covers the labor charge to pack and send your item along with consumables such as packaging, tape etc.

For express post on order over $200 will be an additional $4
